Info

Pata Magazine is a monthly digital review that talks about design and contemporary art without leaving out the neighbouring disciplines such as photography, architecture and graphics. The contents published in each issue are a selection of daily articles posted in blog form. This is Pata's attempt at bringing together speed, technology, precision and accuracy to the traditional systems of communication.

THE TWO MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    WHY "PATA"?

    1. Because it is bizarre, lively and humble: three different approaches that we strive to maintain, especially in this austere climate that is too often associated with the visual arts world.   2. Because we like the reference to pataphysics: the cultured, yet not dogmatic, intuition. 3. Because it is a little bit porno.

WHY DO YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PRINT?

Even though it is a thought that occured to us more than just once, it is always followed by the very oposite question "why print?". The New York Times declared that it will abandon printing in the near future, since its digital version houses millions of visitors while its printed version exists merely for its financial benefits.

Essentially, we hope that internet goes from being a subordinate reality to a primary source of information. And we hope to help change your mind.
